Excitation Mode Of Brushless DC Motor

Unlike synchronous motors, since the stator and rotor of the DC motor, i.e. the main magnetic pole and armature, all flow through DC current, the excitation winding of the main magnetic pole can be connected in parallel with the armature winding, in series with the armature winding, or independently powered by other DC power supplies. According to the different ways of obtaining the excitation current of the main magnetic pole, it is called different excitation methods.
